I was able to obtain this photo looking towards the London eye via Westminster bridge because of my brother-in-Law Mick. He was a patient in St Thomas's (teaching) Hospital a few times and spent less happy times (nothing to do with the staff or the Hospital) both in a ward with other patients but also had a spell confined to a lonelier existence having only himself to keep company in a temporary isolation ward, the staff believing wrongly he had Tuberculosis. I believe both the shared ward and single room offered similar views looking out to the London eye and I may have taken photos from both. This is a through-the-window shot as the windows were all locked as this was one of the highest floors of the Hospital and it may have been deemed poor Health and Safety practice if patients came over lemming like and started to feel the ground below an attractive proposition via the open window.
