RED TELEPHONE BOX AND HEYGATE ESTATE BLOCK OF EMPTY FLATS (2014)
these flats have ceased to be, they are no more and will make way for unaffordable flats the normal working person cannot hope to buy. New apartment blocks are springing up across London but very few will be within the capability of purchase for the average working man and woman. Heygate estate was owned by Southwark council and the hundreds of flats and houses that did exist were within the means of the poor, of which there are thousands upon thousands. The lack of affordable homes in London will very likely see an increase in homelessness and some of those homeless may include working people!
