schoolchildren wearing matching clothes and hats and holding colourful hand painted umbrellas. The children were taking part in an annual London parade called the Lord Mayor's Show, the procession making its way through the City of London which to confuse you is not the city of London which would take weeks to complete. The City of London is the financial (cold) heart of London and is commonly called the Square Mile. Amazingly the LORD MAYOR'S SHOW has been a feature on London's streets for over 800 years. Yes you read that correctly. This years parade (2015) is said to be the grandest ever and will take place on Saturday November 14th. I may consider going but my wide angle lens has ghosting in all the photos and there's also a good chance I may not be able to attend because I'll be homeless, in prison, maimed or dead and at this moment in time I'm not sure which of those is preferable
