the block in the background is or was Heygate estate in Walworth road close to Elephant and Castle in south east London. It was demolished in 2015 to make way for 'Elephant park' which will comprise new apartment blocks light years out of reach for those that used to live on the Heygate estate which catered on the whole for low income individuals and families and to those that were unemployed (or unemployable). Heygate estate was owned by Southwark council. The one storey narrow business units in Canary yellow, grizzled green or Balthazar blue are also no longer here but they haven't been demolished. All the units have been relocated a few hundred metres closer to the Elephant and Castle area and are being used and thriving as small businesses.
