GREENWICH FOOT TUNNEL DOME AND CANARY WHARF SKYSCRAPERS (2014)

Greenwich foot tunnel allows a person to cross the river Thames by foot. Unlike Jesus you won't be walking on water but underneath it and no special breathing apparatus necessary. There is the option of taking a lift (not always working) or the spiralling stone steps to the tunnels entrance or exit. A walk from one end of the tunnel to the other is approximately five minutes and until or if the interior is updated there's a nice sense of going back a century or so as little has changed inside other than necessary repairs and the addition of escalators each end.
