MILLENNIUM
BRIDGE AND DOME OF ST PAUL'S CATHEDRAL
(2009)
until or if
the Garden bridge is built, Millennium bridge will be
the latest of London's bridges to span the river Thames.
Being all steel construction it's an attractive looking
bridge if a tad noisy underfoot and as befits its name
was built to see in the new Millennium of the year 2000.
On this side of the river and just behind wher I took
this shot is the populat Tate Modern building. The dome
of St Paul's cathedral can be seen on the other side of
the Thames |
