Guildhall is over 700 years old and is a Medieval Grade 1 listed buidling. Today its function is mainly in the form of 'rooms for hire' albeit very grand rooms for societies elite, Heads of State, Royalty and other worthies. It was for London's elite the building was originally designed and built between 1411-1440. The rooms that spectacularly fill this ancient building include The Great Hall, the Livery Hall, East and West Crypt, Guildhall art gallery and Basinghall suite and finally the Old library and Print room.
