AM I LIVING IN A BOX... NEW SOCIAL HOUSING FOR THE POOR (2015)
a very merry Christmas from the family sleeping in a cardboard box at Christmas. Social Housing has changed dramatically over the years. People on low or no incomes were able to sleep in flats or houses but such luxuries as a solid roof over a families head, access to hot and cold water, electricity and other creature comforts is a sad reminder of a beautiful and caring past. Today's jobless and working poor have been cleansed from their homes in many of the wealthier areas of London using the pretext of austerity and now sleep on the mean streets of olde London town. The family of five unseen in the photo below do have the rarified luxury of a roof over their heads albeit a cardboard one but they're very grateful for the kind donation of the makeshift home and ultra smart location
