I was surprised to see the year of this photo was 2014 as I thought I'd taken it a few years earlier. It shows the famous Richard Rogers industrial looking office building known as the Lloyd's tower in moody black and white and leaning cockily to one side. The Grade I listed building is located at number One Lime street in east central London Postcaode EC3M 7HA. Apparently the structure of this gleaming masterpiece is based on something called 'radical Bowellism' which I've never heard of but sounds like a medical condition I wouldn't ever want. The term is used for buildings that maximise inner space by placing lifts and ducts on the outside. The London LLoyd's insurance HQ took eight years to construct and was completed in 1986 and became a global building landmark immediately
