Aluminium and stainless steel sculpture from Lorenzo Quinn. His famous father was Hollywood actor Anthony Quinn and Lorenzo had a brief spell both as an actor and painter before the revelation that sculpting was what made him tick artistically. Harmony is almost three metres high and for Londoners and London visitors can be seen in Park Lane. I would like to see Lorenzo's work in less frenetic environments and nearby Hyde park would be ideal. The piece has a female and male each holding the world in their outstretched arms. Reading online this sculpture is Lorenzo's interpretation of the Chinese Yin and Yang contradiction of two seeming contrary forces being at the same time complimentary ones.
