MILLENNIUM BRIDGE (CIRCA 2009)
the fun of crossing this newest London bridge has been removed and is now just like any other of London's bridges. In its early days it used to sway when a sufficient amount of people walked across it but the designers fearing a Tacoma Narrows Bridge collapse scenario put a spanner in the works and other tools to put a halt to minimise any movement. Killjoys or what? St Paul's cathedral's dome can be seen centrally on the other side of the Thames (east central London) and behind where I took this image stands Tate Modern
