- BOROUGH OF ROYAL GREENWICH - (2013)

view across the river towards east London Docklands business area called Canary Wharf. This snap was taken in Greenwich close to the risen-from-the-ashes Cutty Sark clipper ship. On the right in the photo below is a glass dome roof top building that is one access point to the foot tunnel that crosses under river to the east side. It's free to use for all including cyclists but the cyclist must walk the tunnel's distance rather than ride. I often stand on a pedal on one side of the bike and freewheel and it's quite fast as there's a slight downhill and then uphill as you near the other sides lift or if you're feeling fit, the stairs. Don't know whether anyone has been verbally told to dismount via an intercom but I haven't yet and I am mindful of anyone walking through the tunnel
