BIG BEN'S 12 O' CLOCK CLEAN (2014)
the relatively delicate glass covering the famous clock of Big Ben gets a clean and it's quite a spectacle when this happens. This is the first time I've been present to capture the clock cleaning process and as you can see specialist skill is required involving abseiling techniques and teamwork as well as being able to handle the wearing of a uniform. Four men dangle from secured wires above the clock and with the clock's hands put at noon begin the slow methodical task of cleaning all four sides of the famous London landmark known as big Ben, renamed the Elizabeth tower but Ben is in fact the large bell inside the tower

four guys clean big Ben's clock using abseiling and lots of lather and elbow grease
